Mmm Spike enraged the slayer demon on purpose. Ah a trick to push the demon back, not let it retreat as it did last time. Joyce is very worried, huh? It's just that it is her little girl... Yeah, and now time to save the world. I cross my fingers that it will go like planned. :-D ~ Looking forward to read on :)

Grow the hell up, Buffy. You have nothing to be insecure about when it comes to Dawn and Spike. He's your MATE. Haven't you figured out that you're his number 1 priority, yet? And giving in to these emotions just gives the demon an opening. You know that, too, you selfish little brat.

I like the unexpected display of affection between Giles and Buffy-- those words that were never said, but feltt throughout the show. And I like how Joyce is accepting that her little girl has grown up!

They way Giles acted at the phone? Something has happened. Wow! The Council doesn't do things only half: they blow up the mansion? And want to start over with a new demon for a new girl? Maybe that will give Giles to think. ~ But good to see Buffy seems to be able to fight the demon better. ~ As always good chapter!

Love how mom-like Joyce gets about protecting the youngest Summers from the hazards of witnessing Buffy & Spike together! I also love the little battle of wills they had going on in the back seat!
