THAT was so fun! And reaaally nicely written and quite sexy! A bit of tenderness and playfullness so nice! A very nice little breather and you were right a *very* interesting ride which also helped to explain their ritual a little bit more. I was a bit apprehensive when I read the title of this chapter but it turned out to be so nice that there was (still is) a huge smile on my face while I was reading it!

Most enjoyable update even with that little bit of nasty-evil-slayer type demony thing surfacing momentarily. So glad Dawn wasn't buys Buffy's "everyghings OK" line. Love that they've figured out what to do, now they just need to figure out how to do it without Dawn being damanged for live witnessing the sexapades of her sis and fav vamp in the center of some claimy Spuffy lovin'. More please!

Oh Joyce can feel indeed very honored to drive the Desoto. *gg* Had to grin when naughty Buffy made Spike groan and Joyce thought she had hurt him when driving wrong. And Buffy liked to play even more and all behind Joyce's back :) Clever, how the other claim will work. Buffy will be protected. And now Giles found out he was left behind. I wonder how the ritual will go. Till next part (and I really appreciate the quick updated; I forgot to tell).

Finally! Something they can work with. Hopefully Spike will return the claim in the next chapter. I don't know how much longer I can wait without going crazy. On another note though, if it's not in the next chapter, hopefully it'll be in the next one.

I can't wait to see how the claim wiil work when it's on both sides. I hope they stop the thing in Buffy before it's too late and before the Council arrives.

I'l still a little suspiscious about Willow. Even if they run away, wouldn't a simple locator spell be able to find them?

This chapter is AWESOME! This is really the best chapter yet, not only b/c we're getting somewhere and everyone is realizing everything isn't Buffy's fault, but MAINLY b/c Spike and Buffy are becoming one, more in tune with each other. Yay! Love it! Also love your solutions and the way you've worked them ino the plot (the claiming and completion of the dominance ritual). It's all making sense now. And now we see that Dawn simply can't be far from Buffy at all. Sneaky demon fooled Buffy.

Oh, good! About time he voiced that idea! That's the exact solution, and Buffy's finally gained enough respect and affection for him to consider what he said.

The hard part, is actually going through with it without the Demon interrupting the ritual, because she's strong enough to know what's going on. And they can't exactly mate with Dawn standing right there touching Buffy! Would it have to be done during sex, though? If not, then they could do it with Dawn there, as long as the girl kept her eyes turned away.

Good on Dawn having the instinct to come help Spike. She's getting good at the mature stuff. I think the tip-off was when she called Dawn "honey". Buffy doesn't say that!
