Wow! I just found this story, and I am so in love with it. I hope Buffy doesn't just leave him chained to the bed. If she is going to leave, I hope she at least lets him know that she'll be back. I can't wait to see what happens next! :D

Did Angel made a dominance claim once before? I can't remember. ... Oh yeah, this was a bad timing for Spike to start talking again ;-) Seems as if the claim gets stronger, when Spike can hear Buffy and vice versa. But now Spike has to be careful what he thinks ;-) ... Wow, even Buffy doesn't know what came over her. I wonder if it has something to do with the ritual or Buffy's demon. ~ Looking forward to hear what Anya has to say.

Great story. Great chapter. Am anxious to see how they react after things calm down from what has been a very intense and probably eye opening experience for both of them. Keep up the great work. Always enjoy reading everything you write.

Wow... erotic! Had me holding me breath, gasping and 'eeping' along with Spike - and I swear, I'm het through and through.

One thing did trouble me though. This chapter read more like the beginnings of a human D/s relationship rather than a vampire claiming scene. Possibly because I expected there to be some changes to the one doing the claiming. I would expect Buffy to realise some 'responsibilities' as the claimant. An awakening of feelings on her side. The need to protect Spike. Having her sense that he was happy/content or not, as the case may be, and those received feelings affecting her actions toward him. I'd even go so far as to suggest that as the claim is one sided, she might feel some disappointment that he hadn't reciprocated.

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, and you. If I am, it's all your fault, you know. You've gotten me so excited with all of this claiming action!

Need more... I'm on a precipice here!



Author's Response: dont worry, more of the effects on buffy's side of the claim will be shown very soon...this chapter was basically her inner slayer's reaction to his running away...she felt the need to reestablish her claim, to "put him in his place" so to speak...and that's what she was all about this chapter....but some of the other effects, their connection emotionally, etc., will start to show up in the light of day :) thanx for a thoughtful review :)

Seems as if Buffy did indeed manage to claim Spike ( calling to him in some way that went beyond her words, a pull that he could not even begin to explain). I see.. Spike is hurt because he thinks the claim means nothing to her like it means (has meaning) for him. Oh yeah, the claims works! Otherwise it wouldn't have effected Spike so much. :) So Spike really ended in chains.. but not in the way he feared ;-) And uh-huh.. Spike is in trouble now! ~ Looking forward to the next chapter! I wonder if Buffy let Spike claim her back would effect them.

You promised, that once the ritual is done, you´ll get to the emotional development. Instead, you´re diving even deeper into the violence and physical domination.
I intensly dislike that, and remind you of your response to my previous review. Please, I know this is your story, and I really like it, but why does it have to get even uglier. I can´t recognize Buffy, she behaves like a vampire would. Does it make sense for me to keep waiting for changes?

There are definite reasons for the behavior of the characters in this story, which will be revealed in time...and in time, things will get better between them as well....If you don't like reading this sort of thing, you might want to skip ahead a few chapters and wait a bit...but this is the story, and i have placed the appropriate warnings on it.
