Wow! What a dramatic and exciting flashback. I'm so glad the hospital mentioned to Giles that Spike didn't make it, at least now Giles can start formulating some kind of plan to rescue Spike. As much as I hate the fact that Travers has captured Spike, i'm really looking forward to Travers reaction when Spike answers his question... if Spike chooses to answer that is. Nice conversation between Dawn and Aunt Darlene. Great update!

Oh my gosh!!! So much badness happened during Giles' three hour nap. It's so sad that Travers evil planned worked. I loved how Spike immediately snapped out of his mental confusion when Buffy approached him. Knowing Spike he probably didn't put up a fight in exchange for Buffy's safety. I'm so worried about Spike's well being... no telling what physical or mental tortures Travers might inflict upon him. Fantastic update!

Why aren't more people reviewing? This fic is so well done.
It would have been easy for her to calm him down with saying it was elephants as soon as he started asking about the blood. Is she still that dense? You're supposed to be helping him, Buffy, not being your usual contrary self and making people wring answers out of you.
Giles should have known better not to leave her with Spike alone - she's not prepared to help his condition. Buffy should have gone with Panya to help bring back supplies.
If Spike keeps running at full speed, then this tracker guy won't be able to keep up. Otherwise, I'm very worried. And Quentin is a creepy bastard. I'm worried for Lydia.

I know that Buffy is still in shock, but she of all people should know that just cause there is a law against something, it doesn't mean people won't do it. Gotta say i'm really liking Lydia in this fic. Poor Spike his nightmares about the trails are expected, it was really interesting to find out his dreams were so detailed about Buffy's shooting. It always annoyed me that on the show Willow's actions were forgiven and swept under the rug, I loved Willow's conclusion that she's a worse person than Spike ever was. Aunt Darlene sure made a memorable entrance into the story, I like her bunches already. Great update!

I'm still enjoying this story hugely. Really liked the Willow and the Dawn segments; interesting insights. I love the whole idea of Aunt Darlene visiting and meeting the nice boy who took such good care of Dawn after her mom died. Fascinating alternative reality!

First, I'm loving Aunt Darlene. We all know that Dawn's maddest at Spike for leaving her when she didn't want him to. The Buffy thing - what she thinks she knows about it, is really secondary.
