Spike and Buffy loved each other so very much. thank the gods for Illyria's intervention. It was fantastic how they both felt they were dreaming. Felt it was not real. they had both been through so much and did not think they deserved this. But in the end they did. Angel still the ever lasting git. Thinking of only himself. Never wondering how anyone else felt. Buffy telling him off was great. Stupid idiot still pounded on the door for another hour not believing that Buffy would shut him. Duhhhhhhh asshole. you suck and Spike rocks. Your weaving of the threads and emotions were breath taking. Giving us the readers a journey into emotions, we don't tend to think about much. Know that we should not take things for granted. As we all know too well things can change in flash.leaving us with memories and dreams to remember those who have gone before us. I am sure Spike and Buffy will go on their way and make many more adventures. Yet always knowing that dreams and hopes do come true. Wishes are made to have happen. Thank you for taking us on this journey. Thank you for pointing out that always and never let a moment pass where you can't not give all you can give to someone you care about. I hope that this story lets others know to stop the ratrace, stop and remember to love,to feel, and to dream. Though we may not have an Illyeria to help us along. Buffy adn Spike got their second chance. I hope that whoever reads this reads between the lines and also remembers why you wrote this story. Again may those whose light's were distinguished too early, know that ours here will shine on for them. To know that in spirit they will always be welcome. May they all rest in peace. As always my sister i love ya dearly. Amazing story.

Y. E. S. This is lovely, from start to finish. Sometimes I cringe when I think Buffy's getting too emotional/sentimental, but you've maintained her Slayer edge along with adding some very attractive, womanly feeling and it works beautifully.

I hope there will be more of this; I'd like an explanation of where Spike was and how he got back (I assume Illyria was involved somehow) and I'd love to see a Spike/Buffy/Angel confrontation.

buffy's thoughts are so gut-wreching and hard to read. you put so much emotion in your work. everything you say is true. spike did so much for her. more than anyone and especially angel.

Leave it to Illyria. Such a beautiful ending. I love that they weren't both perfect and that he didn't end up human and that there was no baby, just a shared grief. Something they both have to work through. Powerful and passionate. A great addition to your little 2 chapter story.
