This story is interesting, but should Spike really leave the children alone with someone who's obviously sick? She could have had a stroke or have a tumor or some mental illness. She already fainted once. What if she faints while holding the baby? He also seemed more annoyed at her for forgetting (as if she did it on purpose) than concerned that she lost her memory overnight for no apparent reason. But, I still like the story - I just think too much.

You do a great job of write the chemistry between Buffy and William, and you do a fantastic job of showing the many facets of marriage--- parents, domestic partners/roomates, and playful friends. Beautiful story :)! and after this chapter, can't help myself to think: and if the baby she lost was William's, and not Riley's. I thought it was only a kiss between them, but it seems (if I don't make a mistake) there was more (on the backseat!). Maybe she thought she was pregnant of Riley, but had discovered recently the father was Spike. The shock may have cause the amnesia... But it's only speculations. I'm curious to see what will happen: return in the past with knowledge of what her life might be, or end of amnesia? Curiosity and impatience will be the death of me ;)
