The kids are charming without being too goody goody. I'm glad they finally noticed there's something wrong with mom. Lots of lovely banter between Spike and Buffy in this chapter, and I laughed at Spike hiding the batteries in all the cheery, noisy toys.

Another cute chapter of family bonding. Buffy's flustered compliment about William's name showed she had a bit of interest in him even during Riley. A trip to the supermarket on Christmas Eve could be some hectic fun.

I really like this story. What's wrong with Buffy's memory? Puzzling. I love all the little games that Buffy and Spike play with the kids. Noodle Suit...such fun!

*Deep sigh* Can't we have more than just construction fun? I was hoping nap time would be a bit nautier, but I realize that she doesn't really know her role in the family. Maybe I'm just being a little bit impatient-- Perhaps she can wrap herself up to give to William for Christmas? (evil laugh ensues). If only she could feel freed up enough by what she knows of Buffy's relationship with William that she doesn't hold back-- Maybe just try things on for size. At any rate, I like how the affection between the two is growing,a nd how she is trying to fit in and how she's offering to help with daily family life-- cooking, laundry, etc.
