Okay, here's my requested two cents. I don't know if I've ever not enjoyed your work and this story is certainly no exception. You've got a great plot and some really good characterizations going on. I'm wondering, though, kids can be awfully perceptive little things. how is it that they haven't noticed that there's something a little off about their mother? Especially when the emotion she's working with is that of her seven-year-previous dislike of children?

As far as everything else goes, I'm just as curious as William is as to what state Buffy's going to be in when she wakes up the next morning. Looking forward to the next update. Thanks for another great read!

i really like buffy's interaction with the children... and spike's with the children, and buffy's with spike. now i do really want to see buffy plus spike plus bourbon!! :D

Great chapter, I love the way Spike is with the children, and the way they are all warming her heart.....she is captured and lost to the love that surrounds her....GOOD!!! Oh, and thanks

Oh a cliffhanger? I forgot to read the chapter so I can read on now *gg* ~ Awe, cute :) (Buffy's reaction when Sarah burned her mouth; Buffy did almost panic then). Sorry if I repeat myself: but the scene on the couch when the children ask William to kiss Buffy? It was cute :) (Next time I'll try sweet because it was this too. William is so patient and sweet. But I don't understand how they can not question what could have possibly happened to set this whole thing off and take her in to see someone ASAP regardless of the holiday - unless there is more going on here than we know,
