I loved it. I don't usually read one-shots because sometimes they don't go deep enough into the characters but yours totally proved me wrong. A beautiful piece.

So very sad. She'd probably be thrilled to hear from him, but what do you do if it's really over. "It could only be her or no one at all. Her or never be close to anyone again in his unlife"--what an amazing idea. Such despair and yet it's better not to know than to know that she won't love you. A really powerful piece. Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: You're welcome. Thanks for reviewing. I kind of looked at the other side of knowing/not knowing in the companion piece, too.

I seriously think I could cry after reading that. I don't know what it is - I know they are fictional characters, but any time I read a piece like this, I just feel so sad. I guess that's what good writing is.... where Joss left off, writers like you take over. Ripping my Spuffy-loving heart out all over again! :)
Nice job.
Author's Response: Thank youl crying is good.

Oops! You may have noticed that my last review was actually written for your other fic "Stupid Vampire" (which I've since placed as a review in the correct place for that fic). Sorry about that I obviously need some additional caffeine this morning :-).
However, that said, I like this fic very well also! Nice job with both of your stories posting today.
Author's Response: Thank you.
