I've just discovered this story and am truly enjoying it. I love how you have shown that with just some subtle adjustments, the relationship between Spike and Buffy could and should have been so healthy and beautiful. She is of course so much happier when unfettered by the need for her frineds' approval.

Little observations such has how many time Buffy has received flowers; the accurate British terminology interspersed with the American; the hot loving; it's all brilliant.

Also,Spike being the one to dump Buffy;albeit temporarily I hope, is a great twist.

I'm looking forward to more.Okay, I'm going to stop rambling now....

I think I like this version of season 6 a hell of a lot better than the actual season 6!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with what had to happen between Spike and Buffy, but I can't wait for the happy ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please please please update soon! :)

i love how you didn't have Spike bring a date, i hated that part. Now we just have to hope that they will get together. right? they will right? anyways great update and i like the conversation with Dawn. its good to see that they still are friends.

I keep forgetting to type in all the wonderful things I've been saying about your delightful flick, shame you can't just talk a comment in some times, LOL. But I truly love the way you have taken season 6 and made it your own, I definitely like your version much better, especially how you describe Buffy's feelings for her choices. It makes it all more clear how confused she really is. :-) Love it can't wait to read more! :-)

So Riley asked for Buffy's help.. and Buffy agreed to help.
And Riley found her with Spike then.
And the eggs. Too bad Buffy didn't hear (believe) what Spike tried to tell so she lost him now.
Though it is a very sad chapter I can see why he thought he needed to break up with her. *sniffle*

I always thought that Spike should have broken up with Buffy in As You Were because she believed Riley, the guy who was getting his blood sucked by Vampires he was paying, over him and didn't believe in him.

u made me shed a tear! even tho spike broke up with her im glad *he* is the one that did it and not her. and that finaly spike stood up for himself and didnt let her control him .

Spike got jealous because of Richard; but good that Xander acknowledged that Spike and Buffy are together (kind of told he was OK with it). So why was Spike reacting this way? Because Buffy still wanted them to be a secret? Or because he wanted to protect Buffy (because Tara witnessed them?) Ah, the 'Hallie Incident'. Demon eggs? So the man, was it Riley, watching Buffy and Spike? ~ Till next chapter

So Xander saved Spike.. he was lucky; I think he wouldn't not only get beaten he would have lost the money too. So Spike wants to ask Buffy out? I think she'll go. ~ And I wonder what gift Spike got Buffy. .. Awe, she liked the poem even more than the money, huh? (And because I'm too lazy to check out: What stands W.J.P for?
