Oh.. Dru knows about Darla's condition. ~ And Joy Anne was born too early. If the doctors don't say much, that doesn't sound too good to me. "What's family for, right? Besides to drive you insane of course." Loved the line *gg* sooooo true. ~ Poor Faith.. just now it's impossible for Buffy to come, she is not healthy enough. ~ Looking forward to what will happen next.

Nice chapter, never mind about my previous comment.
You explained it perfectly. I had the impression that he was afraid and didn't want to strike back at angel.
But it was just becuse he knows he would win hands down, and doesn't think of angel a challange.
So yeah, i liked that part.
I hope that everything is ok with their baby, that would be really tragic, and i do believe that Buffy would be done with slaying. Losing a newborn baby is alot more emotional then a teenage sister.

What's the deal with your Spike, he' s the weakest vampire ever. Unlike canon where he's one of the the strongest on both shows.

Author's Response: What makes you say that? I don't view my perception of him in this particular fic as being weak. Spike is impervious to all things physical, and that could potentially heighten his emotions. The only thing that concerns him is Buffy and their unborn child. And if you were referring to why he didn't beat up Angel, well, Spike, my Spike (especially so now- he has everything that he wants that Angel doesn't have) likes a challenge, and it would serve no purpose in beating Angel up, because he knows he would win- ring or not.

*gg* Angel did notice it very quick, that Spike is with Buffy now :) But he didn't notice the pregnancy first. Oh, and the other thing too. He was angry (because of gem I think). ~ And it seems as if if Giles was successful (with his task). ~ I wonder if Angel will continue his fight for the PTBs...

No need to rescue Spike, he's his own man :) So he could escape, but now the other are in danger too. Uh-huh.. Giles sent them to Angel? I wonder too how he will take the thought of Buffy being with Spike, being pregnant too. Looking forward to find out :)

Oh no, don't bring angel in to this, he's such a fucking ass. I disagee with giles, they can handel the initiave on their own without the poofter's help.
And he isn't stronger then Spike even without the gem.
