Giles and Angel are in trouble, Giles and Angel are in trouble. I'm so glad Spike's figured it out, a bit late, but still in time, eh? So Spike, all you have to do is find your girl, help save her (or be there with a loving embrace when she saves herself) and then the two of you can dust Angel together (won't that be fun!) Then you can take a trip to see the watcher and find out if he likes running from raging vamps as much as Buffy did? Oh, I can't wait for more.

Even if Spike doesn't know it yet: He has good reason to be worried. Argh, too bad Buffy didn't watch for tinglies before she opened the door. Now it's too late. But Spike remembered the ritual and now his demon 'knows' where Buffy is (rather felt, okay). ~ Loved it, looking forward to the next chapter.

I just finished reading the last two chappies and I cannot wait to read the next one. This is really a great story and I look forward, every single day, to find another chapter.

I just have a request that I'm sure doesn't defere from most. Please, please, please, pretty please, make Angel sufer A LOT with the fact that Buffy and Spike are mated and make Giles deeply regret his betrayal to his slayer at putting her at danger and joining forces with big, tall and forehead.

I hope they get there in time and this time Buffy doesn't forgive Giles and Angel. I always thought it was ridiculous how she seemed to forgive Giles for almost killing her. I can't wait for Spike and Buffy to be mated and know it. Update soon please!

What an absolute slimy evil little - okay BIG - git. So as long as everything goes his way, Angel will let you have free will, but if he doesn't like the results then it is sayonara, do my will, minion, I know what's best. In some ways I think I prefer soulless Angel, at least he is upfront about manipulating people.
I really like this story, and I can not wait to see what Spike is going to do to Angel if he finds out that one hair on Buffy's was harmed.

Completely evil, cackle & all!!! That was a great Buffy tirade. And Angel-- in true Angelus fashion-- Why go for the kill when you can go for the pain? He knows how to work people, and he does it even though he "feels bad" about it. Yeah, soul or no soul, he's still a creep (except when he finally moved to his own show, where he came into his own, thanks in large part to a surprisingly mature Cordy-- but I digress). I adore the way you capture Buffy's drama queen, eye roll, full of bravado rebuffs toward Angel, and the way she's absolutely deflated when Angel hints that Spike will move on. I also liked how you explained how the claim works-- that Spike's demon needs to be claimed by Buffy to quiet both of them when they are apart. Can't wait to see how she fends off the bad guy-- especially while jonesing for bleach-boy with a serious side-order of worried.

Mmm In rare instances, claims might be instrumental in unearthing certain feelings, but it was impossible to fabricate emotions based on a claim So if Angel knows that is right.. he can't accept that Buffy has feelings for Spike. But it seems he is getting it now. Ah! So that's it.. Buffy and Spike feel so horrible being apart because Buffy didn't claim Spike. And the ritual will take place now. ~ That was mean. Angel knows that Spike doesn't fall in and out of love lightly but yet he told Buffy that. ~ And yeah, evil cliffhanger! :-D But good chapter :)
