I love this story I can't wait till they find out why they've been acting like this--ooh, will there be a confrontation btwn Giles and Buffy? Oh well, thanks for the update. I feel like this story gives me a break from reality, which truly bites--can't wait till the next chapter.

There are so many claiming stories out there, but this is the only one I've read in which they don't know what happened!

oh, giles! i loved him to death but one thing i couldn't stand was how well he claimed to know buffy. he's so sure that *his* slayer wouldn't do anything as dumb as accept a claim to an evil vampire. the thought that *his* slayer would do something so....blegh...is just....unimaginable. giles, like angel and xander and sometimes willow, put buffy on this pedistal. whenever buffy does something for herself or something that she wouldn't normally do, they all think that she's poseesed or acting strange. when she acts like she's supposed to, they don't bat an eye. i know i'm putting way too much into this but...anyway, really enjoyed this chapter. giles laughing at angel is always fun. lol. great job. please post soon.

And Spike's going to smack himself on the head and say "Duh!" when he hears it, too.

Oh, Giles...see, this is what comes from not educating your Slayer. She could very well accept something mumbled that she had no idea about what she was agreeing to. The girl already knows the bite is significant, or she wouldn't be trying to hide it all the time. She would have yelled at Spike for biting her and leaving her with a scar.

Buffy is right- slya the girl that didn't melt from that... plus the whole Spike-in-bed + shy-Spike added to that. Yep, some serious slayage needed. I can't wait until he sees that mark, though- and I love the fact that you keep teasing us with it. In sum, another good chapter. Thanks for it!

Loved this chapter!!!! I seriously have to agree with Buffy that any woman who could ignore Spike's shy/sexy begging would be inhuman. And I loved that she opened up enough to Spike to tell him about Angel-- I adore how Spike clenches his jaw with barely repressed rage and jealously, and then bubbles forth with mirth when Buffy spills how she became very ill all over Angel. Great stuff, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter!! Soon please!
