Another wonderful chapter ... this was so perfect, so comfortable and cozy. One thing that you do so incredibly well is shift gears and still keep the reader involved no matter what your characters are doing. (Sex or laundry)
I almost feel guilty during some of the intimate scenes because they are so well written that I feel as though I am in the room too (like a peeping Tom). And this awesome chapter I felt as though I was there with them sitting on a kitchen stool watching him cook and listening to them banter. I'm almost felt as though I had tagging along with them throughout the entire story ... it's because you do such a great job of writing each scene --- descriptions and emotions. (I'm gonna need my hand held when the angst gets rolling my friend).

It's a tad tricky switching gears without letting it appear odd, but thankfully I rely on their growing/developing feelings for one another to help that along. Well, that's always a compliment - making you feel like a fly on the wall, it means I'm doing my job then. Oh hon, I will hold your hand through the angst, I know how you don't like it. Rest assured all will be well after that angst though... plus making up is always the best part, right? Yup, we're all feeling better here. Luckily it was a less than 24 hour flu bug for me, though lots of sleep and fluids rendered me wide awake and writing like crazy by 6 AM sunday morning. Yeha, I wanted to have them understand, as well as the reader, that they are meant for one another through a semi-normal day (given the circumstances that is). Yes, it is too bad SPike/William is stil insecure, but this is all still too new to him, especially seeings that he's admitted to himself he's in love. His first boig step forward is that he's determined to quit working for Lorne and of course pursue Buffy when he has the money for the restaurant. So we're moving forward slowly, but rest assured, all will unfold at the right time for these two. Thanks for your patience sweety and of course the lovely review.
