Thank god it's Friday and I only have to wait until tomorrow. You are still posting the next chapter on Saturday aren't you? This is sooooo good. Lorne really is spot on. I love this story and am counting down. Please please please keep on going - and quickly!!!

I am really enjoying this story. Hope the happier chapters are posted soon. I understand that some angst is necessary . You need conflict and resolution to carry the story along and keep us all interested but a little bit of happiness for our couple would be nice. I'm so enjoying Lorne in this fic. Great writing, spot on character voices. I will be anxiously awaiting new postings.

Author's Response: Oh yes, the happier chapters will be posted soon, promise. Yes, unfortunetely without angst and obstacles all you have is fluff or romance - not really my thing. Glad you like the characters, I found it easier to rely on canon personality in most cases... but it's fun that way too. I do hope you enjoy chapter 18, it will be posted saturday. I don't usually review this early in a fic but this chapter had me laughing so hard and I just had to tell you how much I'm enjoying it. So glad that Lorne is in this too. Love him. I'm a little nervous about what's to come but your writing is so good and I'm intrigued by this plot, so I'm forging ahead. nana, naaaa, na naa, na, I'm getting a man-ho'. Totally cracked me up! I started this fic long time ago and somehow I stopped reading. But I am happy that I found it again and read all the chapters in one. I´m so happy that there are some happier chapters coming, but there will be much more... Well, I´m interested in reading this fic and now I´m doing my best to not forget that I read this one. I even try to review even it is difficult for me, because I´m German and much better in reading than writing. But I try.

I swear this chapter took me back to my high school years (in a good way) with the whole helpful friend intervention. That Lorne is such a sweetheart! I loved their day together (and I so want to treat myself to some spa time). I was happy that Buffy had some time to process the other evenings events and to realize that perhaps she jumped to some wrong conclusions. I can't wait to see what you have cooked up for their next time together. As always, great chapter.

Author's Response: Oh yes, and that chocolate souffle wrap is for real. I did the research into spa 415 in Beverly Hills and checked it all out. I figured everyone would enjoy a bit of chocolate. Oh thank you, I hope my writing is getting better, I feel like it is, but it's hard to judge my own work. Of course the beta's are what make all the difference in the world. Wow... what a great chapter. Bye-bye Riley, you will not be missed. Holy crap this was really a loaded chapter. So much emotion going on. I was really happy that Spike got to see Buffy breaking up with Riley rather than continue his original assumption that she was on a date. I think you already have enough angst working for you in this chapter without that added piece of misery. I can't wait to see how hurtful words, even unfinished, are mended. I'm also curious to see what it will take for Buffy to overcome her own insecurties.

Author's Response: LOL, yeah, he had to go. There was a lot of emotions running high that night, causing all sorts of problems. The shopping trip was all kinds of fun. Lorne was a good balance of effervescence and calculation. I liked his quiet observation of Buffy, and I was delighted with the outcome of the chapter. Buffy really isn't being manipulated, she's coming to her own conclusions. I'm looking forward to her plans for Spike, or is it going to be William finally?

Yes, here I am sticking it out to the bitter (well spuffy) end! I can't wait to find out what Buffy has planned for sweet shy william! Loved the day-at-the-spa-with-Lorne! He must be so much fun to write and whenever he's in a tale, it's always fun to read cause he is just so happy! I didn't like Angel the series until seson 5 (unless Spike was in the episode), but Lorne made the other seasons tolerable (once he showed up as a regular!). More please.
