Honestly I didn't notice the gap in postings.... but that's only because I just finished moving, lol! I came back and most of my stories have so many chapters for me to catch up with that I was actually a bit relieved that this only have one chapter. That's not to say that I wouldn't have loved more... bah, I think you know what I mean.... I hope so anyway.

Really good chapter. Buffy's reaction was a total surprise, but with her self-esteem issues, it's completely understandable, if not extremely frustrating (for Spike anyway, lol).

Anyway, looking forward to more. :)

PS: Sorry you were sick. When I was moving (6 day drive) I had to stop in an ER because I was so sick. Turns out I had ear infections in both ears along with a sinus infection... definitley not a fun trip.

still loving it. the plot gets deeper and deeper :D but i must say, when is william/spike gonna come clean about himself? he keeps lying to buffy about grisantis for instance and his selfconfidence is about zero. wise up, man! and also, curious, will there be a blind-date? oooh, that would be soooo hilarious! love your work, keep it up! and as always i anxiously await the next chapter.

Author's Response: Glad your still enjoying. Those are tough questions to answer w/out giving too much away, but I'll try. First, William/Spike isn't lying to Buffy about Grisanti's. He did have his dinner with him, so that was a half truth. As an escort, he wouldn't discuss his private life with her, at least not yet sweety - that will take some time. His self confidence will get the boost he needs soon, that I promise. As for a blind date - maybe, I haven't really decided either way yet, though I am leaning towards it. The next 2-3 chapters will be angst free and fun, BUT, the story is far from over too. Not that much time has passed since they first met, and I have more ups and downs planned for them. It wouldn't be spuffy without a struggle for love - at least not in my mind. Thanks for the review hon, I do hope you enjoy the next chapter - it's more light-hearted.

That is so wrong. Spike clearly should have removed Rile's hand from the arm. ;-) Great chapter- full of angst, drama, and action. Truly and enjoyment. :-)
