I tried to pay attention to other fics out there (style, structure, etc...) b/c writing this stuff is scary, especially the first time. So it mean a lot that you liked it, thanks. I tend to pick a certain song or two, depending on the content I'm writing and just zone out, or into it as the case may be. Glad you liked the funny parts as well as the kink and intenseness. I'm trying for them to be compatable - if you will - in many ways. That and too much sex is just, well, too much porn and not enough plot. Thanks for the awesome review on this chappy. Do you know that there's a heat wave here in France ? Do you imagine how hard it is to stand in a very little room with a computer that heats the place even more and not being able to let go before finishing both chapters ?! Yet I just did... This is it : I just found out I'm a masochist ! But it was sooooo gooood anyway ! I even printed the stuff so that I can read it again tomorrow morning (eh, in a few hours actually) in the train surrounded by poor unsuspecting fellow travellers ;-) They won't know what they're missing...

Wow. umm.. Wow.

But this has been bothering me: All this frustration he's been building up and domination in an attempt to get her to let her walls down enough to come properly. You've explained the reasoning behind it, but you haven't actually shown me it's necessary to the extreme he's taken it. All the previous times he's gotten her almost there, there was no sign that it wouldn't have worked wonderfully if he hadn't backed off, even the first time. Is he basing this behavior on what Lorne told him despite her actual reactions, or were there clues she gave him physically that you didn't write, or I didn't catch?

Author's Response: Ah-ha, someone noticed, good observation. Yes there is reason behind it. It would have been too simple for Spike to go that route, and Lorne knew that Spike's talents would be a perfect match for Buffy. Yes, he could have let her come the first time and every one there after, just by his actions as a talented lover alone, BUT, we all know that to truly enjoy anything to it's fullest, you have to give it your (Buffy's) all, give yourself over to the moment. I'm probably not explaining it very well here, but trust in the fact a lot more will be revealed as time goes on in the story. Yes, Lorne has a lot to do with this and the whole conversation has not been divulged just yet. But w/out giving any spoilers away that's all I can say. Glad you liked it and glad you're looking deeper into it. Like I said it's porn WITH a heavy dose of plot, we just haven't gotten there yet. Thanks so much for the great review sweety, stick around.
