It surprised the hell outta me when this woman just went bollistic, I mean come on, there are so many stories out there where the rape actually takes place. She was pissed that I used it as a means of seduction... for like what, 5 actual minutes of Buffy and Spike's time? It wasn't like I'd planned for him to keep up that persona either. I'm glad it was clear to you that Spike wasn't going to do that. And you're right, she's paying for it so that would just plain be stupid. Thanks again hon.

Spike's seduction was a bit forceful in the beginning, but I relaxed as soon as he let Buffy in on his "real" identity. The physical connection is certainly erotic, and I'm really enjoying the inner struggle of Spike and William. Spike's teasing is fun to read, and I'll bet the pay off is going to be worth waiting for.
Author's Response: Yes I'll admit it was but remember what Lorne said - forceful coaxing is necessary to awaken the passionate woman within. So bear that in mind as he may still be somewhat forceful with her, but for her own good. It's not my intention to upset anyone with this or the intruder bit. Just trying to set the scene, plus Spike WILL not do anything to Buffy to hurt her - unless of course she likes it, tee hee. The inner-struggle of Spike/William is elemental to the story and his teasing may continue... you'll just have to read to find out, tee hee. Since this is my first time writing (their) first sexual encounter, I'm shooting for a stellar 'encounter'. The more I write the easier it will get I'm sure. Yeah, adopting Spike keeps William sane. I wonder anyway how long he'll do it because but never gave William more work than necessary, knowing how he felt inside about it :) I wonder what Lorne saw when 'reading' Buffy or what he did mean with Be careful with the time you spend with her...for both your sakes Maybe because Buffy will bring William out? We'll see. :) Loved that Buffy had seconds thoughts because she thought of Spike's feelings. Oh yeah.. By the time I'm through with you, I'll be so deep in your system you'll crave me... I enjoyed learning about why William created the Spike persona, it's so sad William is so lonely and doesn't think he deserves love. I really liked the fact that both William and Buffy wished they had met under different circumstances. Loved the chapter... the Spuffy loving smokin' hot! ;-)
