dunno why, but i had the feeling that the big meeting wouldn't be in this chapter... but that doesn't mean you're quite evil!! lol (uhmm.. not sure i used the right tense and all... hope you could get the meaning...!)
it certainly suits spike, staying in the dark staring at the lady in red... i can't wait for their first real meeting but this "preview" was great!
this is going to be a very great story.... at the end, we know that's all about buffy and spike, no suspance there (well, we do choose a spuffy archive for a reason!), so, what really makes the difference is how you get them there... and you're doing a fantastic job!

Hey if I leave 'em screaming for more I must be doing something right, right??? Yeah, it was time to meet Spike and take a peak under his cranial cage, and I couldn't agree with you more when you said it's how we get our fav couple together. There's so many great stories out there, that it's a challenge (at least to me as a new writer) to 'reinvent the wheel' so to speak. Brilliant story so far! Really, I love the basic premise, and you have already started developing it so well. Buffy and Lorne specifically are totally in character, which can be pretty difficult to do for Buffy! Keep up the good work!

I thought it may be easier to rely on the characters original personalties from their respective shows rather than 'create' something and have this flop.
