Ok, I'm hooked! I can't wait till we meet Spike. ;-) And I like how this is light and funny so far. I love serious as much as the next gal, but it is nice to laugh sometimes. And I laughed out loud at the filly stuff and "saddle to ride you with" and Buffy's reaction to it! Lorne always makes me laugh.

Should be fun to see Buffy's reaction to a guy that actually knows what he's doing. Sounds like it will be steamy. Spike is usually portrayed as all gentle and sweet in human AU fics, so this Spike should be interesting. :-)

You have me wondering though about what you meant by a twist we won't expect. Hmm......

Author's Response: Thanks. Because there will obviously be some serious moments I tried to balance it out a bit. Glad you laughed at the cowboy references. It would be hard to picture Spike dressed up as one, but hey, if it's in all black, I'll take him on a full gallop baby, bareback at that, tee hee. Yup, Spike will be our sexpert, no surprise there and there will be steaminess that would make a porn star blush. I like gentle and sweet William in fics, but feel a balance is often better. When he's ALL sweet and gentle I don't like it quite as much unless I'm in the mood for reading that type. Again, I likes me sum badboyz, anytime, anywhere, anyhow, turn me sideways and color me happy. The twist won't be a huge one by any means and it won't be long before I get to it. Hopefully I'll remember to mention it once it's out there, if not ask me again. Thanks for the lovely review "deary".
