I feel bad for Buffy, but I think I feel worse for William, which makes me feel like he had the right to be harsh with Buffy. okay, jenny and giles are kind to blame . they need to kind mind their own business. if your son is drunk and he is hurting then you don't just give him the phone of the woman who broke his heart. especially when he is drunk. bad them. and i'm not liking that they buffy is just the greatest thing when they don't even know her. i know that they have the best interests. but still.
I kind feel bad for buffy. but then again she did hurt him bad and he is completely drunk. not the time for you to apologize t to someone.
Author's Response: Yes, they are, you couldn't be more right. But of course given how wildly different William's behaving to what they're used to, their worrying is justifiable and 2 straight weeks of drinking is a bit much. They don't know Buffy from Adam but they also don't know the situation either. They only have so much information to go on and they are his only family. i'm actually doing the snoopy dance right now. i was very happy with this chapter. i think william, though very harsh and disgustingly drunk, got some of his own back. buffy took it all like a pro and i give her props for that. she didn't let her anger get this best of her. i know she's hurthing though. hell, i would be too if the guy that claimed to love me just told me that I was the worst lay he'd ever had and that he'd only come back for my money. yeah, spike's full of shit right now but his words wouldn't stop me from shedding a few tears. lovedit soooooo much. i'm not one for too much angst either but this brand of it felt right. it'll make it all the more worth it when they kiss and make up.
I bow before the mighty muse. lol. great job. have a great weekend and don't keep up waiting too long for the next installment. loved it bunches.

God GAWD! How did I get so far behind? I'm so sorry I haven't been reviewing. I really have no idea how I missed so many chapters. =/
As sad and heartbreaking as the last few chapters have been, I still love them all. I really enjoy reading this story. Even if it does make me (almost) desperately want a man in my life that loves me even half as much as William loves Buffy, lol!

Lucky for Buffy Lorne was near when she called. *phew* And at last she is able to acknowledge that she still loves Spike. *nods* Indeed things start to luck up. Jenny and Giles were kind on the phone; they'll help Buffy to make it up to Spike again. If Spike is ready to do that.... Let's hope he is more ready to hear Buffy out than she was.

I loved the awkward kiss from Buffy's perspective. Oz and Willow's clues worked beautifully, finally allowing the light bulb to go off over Buffy's head. Even though she's realized and admitted she's still in love with William, they still have some trust issues to address, as well as the pesky thousands of miles separating them. Thanks for another entertaining chapter.

Agh! Buffy throwing herself at Wesley is excruciating, and, then, having William see it all, excrucuating to the power of ten! This was another tight chapter, and the tension is palpable. I'm delighted there's another posted already. This heartbroken William is hard to take. Giving up on his dream just to put some distance between them would be a terrible mistake. One I'm sure you're not going to allow him to make, right?
