Awe, Buffy reminds Spike of his sisters, but not in a sisterly way like she believed first. Argh, silly Buffy! Because Spike didn't tell Buffy that Dawn sneaked out she is mad? Too bad. *sigh* I hope the next day Buffy will rethink her decision. She can be glad that Spike was helpful. ~ Till next chapter :)

well, i don't understand what her problem was. yeah, spike never told anyone about the sneaking out, but she couldn't have expected him to. at least he was making sure dawn was safe. buffy completely overreacted and i hope she gets whatever crawled into her ass out soon. i liked the story until this part. i was actually hoping for no angst since you didn't put it as one of the genres, but i should have known there would be. oh well, i'll keep on reading and hope that buffy regrets her decision. she can be such an idiot sometimes.

Haven't a clue why you were worried about this. Its fine. I love how she finds his vice the wnderful thing he rest of us knew it was. Gah, that voice.

They always looked so. . . happy to be fighting each other, its a damn shame that went away with the chip. . . . But its nice to hear him acknowledge it to her, out loud.

That exchange at the end, seems so innocuous an yet, I believe it will prove the ultimate turning point for them. Such small moments usually are pivotal. Lovely pet, keep up the good work

I know that you said there was not going to be smooth sailing for Buffy and Spike, but I do appreciate that Buffy is not being mean to Spike. I also appreciate that there is not any snarkiness to their conversations. Please update soon. If the story naturally ends that is okay, however if your muse is telling you to develop another subplot I am all for it.

this chap was soo good! it was funny how they said nice things to each other almost being worried to insult their former worst enemy... :D
this fic seems whole, complete... it was a buffy/spike story, just the two of them, no need for anyone else. If you finish it in a few chapters there won't be loose ends.
However, if the sub-plot really fits in... why not? it could be good to see them (in a couple) to interact with the others... Usually their (secret) relationship begins during an apocalypse of sort... things are strained, people hurt and such. Maybe a more relaxed setting, their easily banter and another tax form to face?
i know, i know... but truth is, i'm gonna appreciate anything you choose!
