Hehe sneaky Spike... so he watched Buffy from afar but was careful not to be caught. Buffy misses to fight Spike and vice versa? Cute in a very Slayer/Mastervamp way. Loved the chapter :)

You do a really good job with Buffy's punning and witty remarks during Slaying. That's a hard thing to do, and you've got her voice here. Nice. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I love the scene with Buffy and Dawn. There's nothing like an overly-perceptive little sister! And Buffy trying to cover up is just funny. Looks like she's got herself a little crush on Spike, whether she's ready to admit it to herself or not...

Such a creative opening! Haha, you hit the first-tax-form frustration right on the nose. and i love the details aobut spike's posture, it tells us a lot about how he is feeling and piques interest about him without having him say a word.

wow! that was ... wow! loved every line of this chapter... but the last scene left me with no word. They barely spoke few words but... and the kissing... it sort of reminded me the kiss in intervention.... a vulnerable spike, and a tender buffy...

I'm interested in the poem too.. Very nice start to your story. Like them being nice to each other.

Author's Response: Don't count on them staying nice throughout. They may be intensely attracted to one another but they are still the Slayer and a master vampire.

(Ch. 2: Well Spike wanted Buffy to stay. Therefore he asked her what was troubling her. The natural thing in a talk would be to offer help. Perfect opportunity to have Buffy stay *gg*) ~ Ch. 3: So it wasn't about the taxes.. it was just the proverbial drop that was too much. But simple just have someone to talk about, someone who did hear what Buffy had to say did help. And getting help for school isn't bad either :)
