It's too late for me to try to write much: So I keep it simple. Loved Spike bearing his heart out to Buffy to explain himself, using the poems.
And even more Buffy taking her heart in her hands and telling Spike :))

Author's Response: Riley! Did you not catch the chapter in which Riley (AKA boy of little brain) screwed up big time? He's old news. Buffy will probably do the right thing and let him down gently. But Riley is soooooooooo 10 minutes ago.

be kind? BE KIND?? when you leave us with that??? you evil eeeevil person! First you make a story, and then you make it good and then you add cultured Spike reading one of my favorite poems ever and then leave me with terrible cliffies???? NO! i will not be kind! update soon and maybe I'll throw a little kindness your way. :) one thing though, didn't Spike ask for the priveliege to call Buffy 'Buffy'? he hasn't done that anymore than usual in the later chapters. no worries though, luvvie. s'great so far. i wait for the next installment on breathe that is baited.

Loved it. I am so glad that Spike showed restraint and did not jump into a physical relationship with Buffy and that she actually listened and she actually spoke her true feelings for a change. I look forward to the next chapter.

Squee! That is such a lovely chapter. You made me cry! And it was just so sweet. I am so glad that Buffy is not going to deny it any longer. I would certainly have to hurt her for it after Spike recited the poem to her. I can't wait to see what happens next.

What I think is that you're seriously evil for leaving it there...lol! I must have more, this chapter was too good. You even got a tear to leak out of me. I'll be sad to see this one end, but I can't wait for more=)

Your evil, grin! But in a good way. Love the story and especially love the turn it's taking. I like seeing William emerge, we only got a glimpse on the show when he held the door open for her. Hope Riley takes a powder real soon. Keep up the good work and write faster, LOL. Hope to see a new chappie soon.

Should I call it now a good or a bad timing of Spike ;-) At last he was there in time to witness Buffy.
Oh :)) Loved it.
Buffy talked to Spike at last, acknowledging that she doesn't need normal (and rather wants him) *g*
