Great chapter but sad too!

I read this already on AFF.net so I'm glad to see you're posting it on other sites.

I understand that she's hurting, but you just gotta wonder about the sanity of a woman who would use someone who loves her that way. Buff just needs to fess up to all that's happening and let EVERYONE who cares about her help. Well - I love this tale so far and look forward to more. It's classic the way you are getting in so many nuances from the series. I know that soon, Buffy will be back with the band, She'll admit her true feelings for Spike and the Scoobies with win the Battle!. (Or at least I hope that's how it all turns out, with the twists and turns you put into a tale, I'm not banking on any outcome until I read it!) Thanks for sharing. more please.

This is really not working. First of all, the story is almost exactly the series. There is not one new idea, except that they're a band instead of demon-hunters. Why would I want to re-read the entire season 4 (Not even a very good season)? Secondly, none of the characters are likeable, which I kind of don't understand because they are exactly the characters from the show. (I really didn't like a lot of Season 4 though, so maybe you've just managed to tap into all of what I hated about Season 4.
I think you would be better off abandoning this story and trying somehting else. You're right, Buffy and Spike are great characters, you could do something else with them.

Author's Response: I disagree - there are differences. And not just that Spike and Buffy aren't trying to kill each other. The whole point to this story was a funny parallel to the series that I thought up. Story's already finished, so I won't be abandoning it. But, thanks for the review.

Buffy didn't like the review but the others did. ~ But now Spike's column is dropped. ~ So Riley is there now? Well who needs him anyway? But Spike helping the band it good... We'll see how it will go now.
