I'm so glad that he backed off at breakfast-- seems he can still make her a little skiddish. But I like how he acquiesced and went shopping (what a true man!) and insisted on buying the book-- that was too cute. At the end, I'm starting to cringe because I can see the hand-writing on the wall. That phase that I, like so many others, went through-- self-destruction, thy name is Buffy. Hopefully she won't leave William just so that she can have power and a feeling of self-control. Hopefully, he can help heal her poor self image, and she can see that true power lies in making herself vulnerable and accessible to someone she loves. Great update.

I loved Buffy's shyness about spending the night. That line about it being more intimate than sex drove home how new this is to her. I was delighted that naothing came of William's worry about the magic being gone upon waking. Instead, the magic just keeps unfolding!

At this point, the thing I like best about Buffy is that she's a quick study! ;) It's like William has freed her so quickly-- she was bound up so tight that she's a little she-devil now that she's been unleashed. I loved William's answer when she asked what would happen tomorrow....indeed! Hopefully, William will be there with her to deal with the ghosts, and I'm really hoping she'll continue to open up with her feelings to him (not just sexual ones-- although, those are some of my favorites!).
