Buffy was strong.. not wanting to go back but still going. Thoughts of William helped, huh? And Buffy's wish And I'm not her. I want to cohabitate with them peacefully, but I do not want them to rule my life. doesn't sound bad (unbelievable, unrealistic to wish for). Now I'm looking forward to how Tara can help :)

I liked Edina's talk with Buffy, and I loved her suggestion that Buffy meet her niece Tara. Buffy made some really good points in her speech to William, loved the joking and hugging that followed afterward. Can't wait to read more. Wonderful chapter!

I like how affectionate William is toward Buffy, and how he leads her to open up to him emotionally-- like asking if she could say she missed him, too. I also like that Buffy is trying to be open to her options, and how she was encouraged by Edina to find her own way. I also like how she has a strong voice not to run away this time, but to tell William that she has to find her own way. It may be hard on William to not give advice to the poor lost little lamb who's trying to find her way, especially given what he knows her future will hold. But he truly has to let her come to terms with this on her own if she's to be her own person and if this relationship isn't one of co-dependence. Great stuff! I'm so glad you've brought Tara into this!!!! Looking forward to more.

Well, interesting introduction to Tara. I didn't realize she would have shown up already. I'm thinking maybe Edina doesn't like any men. Can't say I really blame her on that one...lol! Good chapter=)

OK, I just read your entire story to date and I love it !!!! Great set up. Very original character development. (Buffy is her usual Cleopatra self ... Queen of DeNile) And William is to die for (always does it for me). I love the banner too. Keep up the updates PLEASE. Writers like you should not be allowed to take breaks!!
Thanks for the escape from what is everyday life ... looking forward to your story as it develops. Oh yes, I am actually liking that Druscilla is "good" in your story ... probably a first in fanfiction.

Buffy trying out the mansion again is a good idea - she's going to have to figure out what to do with the place, and learning if she can live with the spirits is a good place to start. I enjoy the adult conversations in this story. I really liked William telling Buffy that she's not broken, otherwise she wouldn't be feeling anything. I hope she takes that to heart.

William is right: Damn, but her parents had really done a number on her. It will be a long road for him to help Buffy accept her emotions/feelings and make her better. But he is the right man for that task: He loves her. Buffy is going back to the mansion? I hope she'll find time to think there with all the ghosts. Like the chapter :) And Noa? She's very good too, isn't she? :)

That is a gorgeous banner! I love how they are trying to admit their feelings without actually admitting them-- her because she doesn't know how and doesn't want to be vulnerable, and him because he doesn't want to scar her. I like the persistence that man has!! I have faith that she'll *need* him at the mansion. ;)

Love the banner. Personally? I think Buffy is Nucking Futs, but then I'm all for the lovin' and I know to get there we gotta have all the angst - and that what makes the story GREAT! The journey to the Happily Ever..... So, okay, they live apart and William keeps giving and chipping away and showing Buffy how to come to life and Dru keeps watching over her and you keep writing cause you do that so well, and I keep reading cause I love the tale so much. What an emotional roller coaster. William's attentions and insights are a bit overwhelming. The passionate aftermath of the "job interview" was vivid and emotional. I'm enjoying the push and pull of Buffy's response to being romanced.
