Can't wait to read the confrontation between Spike and Buffy regarding her engagement. Very sweet flashback . They have a tight bond, and it definitely shows :)

I have to admit it, my first reaction was "I hate Buffy! Stupid girl!" !!!

All : "Riley is so... reliable", "he's been so good to me", "that man has everything a woman could ever want "he comes from a very rich family"... na-na-na... Broken record :(.

I felt a sudden urge to hit something (not someone! againt my ethic) !

I have always thought fairy tales are the worst way of brainwashing ever created... Grrrr... Prince Charming sucks. Outdated concept.

But at the end of the chapter, peace came suddenly over me :). Because Buffy bursts into a flood of tears.

Don't misunderstand me: I'm not happy she suffers; for me, these tears are the proof she hasn't lost all common sense and intelligence. She can be saved :)!

Good job, keep on it!

Author's Response: I so totally agree with you especially about the prince charming part. Don't ya worry, things may be a bit blurry at the moment but I promise to make it up to everyone in the coming chapters. Thanks for the wonderful review.

Ok, dont like criticising but being English have to pick up on a couple of things. If William is only 6 there are things he would not say, bloody git, pet & love are all adult terms and not something he would hear from Giles either. Unless he is Welsh he would call his father dad not da and his mother mum not mom. And like most of my kind we think of ourselves as English first & British second-so William would say he was English. Ok English lesson over I like the idea of the story and sorry to be critical

Author's Response: Hi scaryscouse! I would like you to know that I appreciate the little things that you’ve pointed out. I didin’t mean to offend anyone by making William sounding more mature. I just found it a little funny if William spoke that way even if he was just a child since William/Spike to me is really a unique character and all of his terms of endearment like pet, luv are all just used to emphasize that it is really Spike who is speaking. You’re right, I’ll keep in mind of using the word mum instead of mom. So glad you and the rest of those who reviewed liked the story so far.
