Good chapter. I keep waiting for them to meet but you keep torturing us. Why is he being such a jerk? it is very annoying. I hope he won't behave too stupidly at the bar. Can't wait to read more.

Good chapters. I am glad that Spike has a friend in this fic. I can't wait to read what will happen next. Of course Buffy had to leave, although I wish she hadn't Nothing really comes that easy. Hopefully, Spike won't say or do the wrong thing.

What the hell were u thinking? I mean he rapes her and now u expect us to believe that she will magically fall in love with him? What the hell were u smoking? I mean if he had somehow coerced her into it I might have bought it but this was rape and the only place in the world where a woman falls in love with her rapist I would say are in soap operas.

Not to mentioned that you pretty much killed of Spike in this story for me, I mean what kind of asshole is he? Raping some one and thinking that he's doing them a favour. He forced her and that makes him a rapist how can anybody in their right mind think he's not a total scum bag?

If the object was to fuck her up good mentally then I would say he succeded. I mean if he treats her just right he can get her to become totally dependent on him, ofcourse that would mean destroying her mentally but what the hell he already raped her so why not.

Author's Response: First off, I'm going to ignore the fact I warned every reader that this was a dark tale and that there would be a rape between the two main characters. I'm also going to ignore that this is fiction and in no way a real-life story. I respect your view and I hope you would respect mine as to just move on. I'll leave your review up as it is an important view, however, you were warned and decided to ignore all the warnings. In s6, Spike was well on his way of raping Buffy. In no way did his being stop himself, only the fact Buffy found a way to push him away to make him realize what a mistake he was about to make. Buffy is a very strong character and has found a way through all the f-ed up BS that the men in her life throw her way. Although this story does have rape, it isn't about making rape OK. I never meant for that tohappen (and if I tried, I wouldn't succeed) The characters worked together and apart (when needed) to move beyond a tragic event. Spike had to attone for his sins. Buffy had to remove herself to become a stronger person. I do hope you can move on, also, as this isn't your cup of tea.

Buffy is healing.. and Spike drinking. So I say Buffy is (feeling/doing) better than Spike now. But maybe Xander's talk was what he needs to be ready to win her back :)

Oh, you're not such a bad poster - I found it fine. I'm gonna say something I've never said before - I like this Xander. hopefully Spike with get his live back on tract, cause, well, Buffy loves him and as soon as she comes to terms with everything, she'll make an appearance - that painting should of told him something... she remembers, she knows, she cares, she's just not ready yet. So pull yourself up by your doc marten laces and stop being a drunk Spike, cause if/when Buffy comes calling, you are gonna want to be coherent. More please.

Author's Response: *giggle* glad you aren't going to stone me for not realizing Ch 14 was very, very short. You are right, Spike should see that she painted for him... that she was speaking through the painting when she couldn't voice it with words. She does care for Spike, despite everything, she just could not let the situation continue. Spike's going to take Xander's advice to heart and decide to be the man he originally was trying to be

I think it's time for Spike to start discovering and VOICING some feelings of his own. Afterall - the relationship may have started in duress, but they've grown so much and feel so much for each other now. It would truly be a shame if they let it go. Of course I also know that we've not had near enough angst in this story for more writers here at the Spuffy Realm so I wouldn't be surprized if they had to climb many mountains and have many more crying sessions and fights before they are finally happy. Maybe if Hank were to take a header off a tall building, they could be happy together (I know it would make ME happy). Thanks for the update to this wonderful story. more please.

Author's Response: I think Spike is too scared to voice his true "voice"... he doesn't want to scare her off now that he doesn't have anything solid to tie her to him. Stay tuned, the couple has a few more things to go through before they can live happily ever after.

Ahhh, that was so sweet and tender. Now she knows how it could really be - not forced and harsh and degrading. I'm so glad she let him in a bit, now if only her heart was with his as well. Love the tale (had to play catch up a bit but it paid off as you had the "love scene" available). Wonderful tale, so what's gonna happen with Joyce and is Spike going to be there to pick up the Buffy-pieces when it does? More please.
