The Monty Python bit was inspired. The segue from playful to heartfelt was nicely handled. Maybe Buffy's wrong, and this isn't the PTB's idea of a cruel joke.. Maybe they really have been given a gift. We'll see how this plays out.

Oh yeah.. so they do know now what makes Spike write (simple Buffy). Would Buffy go is Spike's book is ready even if the time isn't over? Would be a shame for them to loose the last days they have. LOL must be good to know for Spike that he can even get Buffy hot with his poems. *g*
So Spike has accepted now that Buffy isn't his to keep *sigh*. He really must take every chance he has to make memories because he doesn't want to trick her, is honest with her (to take her virginity).
Oh. Spike told her that he loves her and Buffy is sad because she has to leave him again. And it is vice versa, Buffy loves him too. I hope they'll keep their memories when Buffy is gone again. Would be a shame if Spike would lost this too. I think Spike intends to write more even if Buffy is gone; I wonder how well this will go, if he is able to do it. And it seems that Buffy has to go again if Spike's book is ready. An eternity without the other and / or a lifetime of loneliness. Both not so good things to look forward to. Buffy is wondering too what will happen; looking forward to the next chapter to read on :)

Okay, that tears it. This is just too much. She's actually going to leave, just like that? No. I know. She leaves and Spike is heartbroken, but then he meets a mortal Buffy who doesn't know anything about the muse Buffy, but she's just as lovely and wonderfu., just mortl. Okay. fixed it! Yea! Keep them coming. I love this fic. Oh by the way. Life has been seriously interrupting art and my next chapter is about 2/3 done. I'll be sending it by this weekend when I get a little time.

Oh. Well that was sad.

In a good way, of course. My heart was breaking for Buffy as I read this chapter, and I was sad with her and for her. It's sad to think of them being apart when they're so happy and right together.

Needless to say, though, I loved this chapter, as I have the previous ones.

No, that's wrong. See, he will be a broken shell and he will never recover and the powers knew this so they had to send the best muse for him to fall hopelessly in love with and break the little muse rules so she has to stay and inspire him throughout their mortal lives. Evil you, you have me shouting at my computer screen like some drunk old man with a beer belly watching a football game. Some fine story telling that is. And they are such beautiful words about the merits of loving and losing and then living, but I really want their happy ending. And I will continue to hope through all the ups and downs because a muse must inspire and perhaps she'll see she'd be a better inspiration in the flesh... I do love it and I'm looking forward to more. Ups and downs alike, I love the ride.

Loved the chapter. It was very yummy. I do find Buffy's logic about their relationship kinda funny though. Perhaps it is because I delude and convince myself that things are a certain way, when they aren't, also. ; ) I can't wait for more.
