Love Buffy proving a point to Giles. And I love that Giles sees their passion. And Spike, knowing that getting any more involved with this woman will absolutely destroy him, and yet he cannot resist that pull. It's wonderful and I'm always looking forward to more.

Thought I would try something new:

Favorite line: "I changed it with my magical powers that don't exist."

Favorite sad part: He could only taste her, never truly have her. "I…" He stopped, his jaw growing tight. "This isn't bloody fair."

Favorite sad but touching part: "I would rather have a moment in your arms, my sweet poet, than an eternity of never knowing your touch."

General: I really like that they'r not just saying screw it (no pun intended, honest) and forgetting the rules. I like that they're at least trying to control themselves.

Okay. I can see that you are lulling us into a sense of false security regarding the need for multiple cold showers or, for the lucky ones, a worn out lover. I'm bracing myself for the next bedroom scene, which I'm guessing won't be quite so chaste as this last one. Lovely, chapter. The vinegar bit was hilarious. Giles is always such a great foil for such pranks!

Such a lovely story, I think that maybe the PTB have an ulterior motive for sending Buffy to Spike, so they both can have what they deserve, Spike will have a love that is true to inspire him always, and Buffy can find the real meaning of poetry and love, and be able to find her true purpose. Honestly, I didn't get the whole rubbing-on-the-butt thing, I just couldn't picture how that would work... but maybe that's just me, lol. Other than that, still loving it. :)

"The longer he held her, the more he knew he'd never be able to recover from losing her."--All she's ever known, and I can't imagine how she could choose to go back to her life and leave her time with Spike behind. It's such a powerful sentiment, and I can see how it would inspire Spike. He must feel like now is all he'll ever have, cramming all the inspiration into his few weeks or days with the one thing that actually causes him to live, and knowing that heaven has and end date. Good god I am truly moved by thsi story and their plight. Can't wait for more.

You've created scenes between these two that have so much sexual tension it's kind of amazing. I guess the fact that Spike is getting off and Buffy isn't contributes to that. At this point it seems inevitable that they will find somehow to be together. So, obviously it's not going to be that easy. Can't wait to find out what you've got in store for the sexiest pair of Spuffy lovers yet!
