My brain still hasn't fully got back to functioning (as that sentence proves)...but thank you for posting this this morning, it was nice to have it to read while I was attempting to send the other computer death glares for it's evilness....I really like how this fic is plaing out and the interactions etween Buffy and Spike (well actually Spike and Angel and Spike and Riley too.....I just like this Spike lots) Great chapter again :)

Good to hear Spike say the wants to be with Buffy and nobody else. What a coward though.. he is only telling her he loves her when she can't hear it. Too fear what happens if he looses her then. ~ Riley has always food.. does he collect protection money from restaurants? ~ Anyway, loved the updates on both stories :)

I enjoyed reading Spike and Buffy's musings in this chapter. I hope Spike gains the courage to admit his feelings someday soon. Fantastic update!

GOD I LOVE THAT HE GETS SO JEALOUS ITS SO CUTE. i love this story and am happy u updated so quickly. i cant believe he didnt tell her wen he had the chance andbthe one time he did sya it, she didnt hear him. i really hope that they stay together and are happy and that spike can admit his true feeling to her. also i hope that riley doesnt keep getting in the way and that he doesnt try to hurt her or spike. please update as soon as u can, cant wait to read more. thanx

So how terminal dense is Riley? He's still trying to get into Buffy's good graces? I wonder why. What's in it for him. Why can't he take "no thank you" for an answer. I can't wait until Faith has the goods on Riley because if he's not a bad cop, he soon will be. Wonderful Spuffy-lovin. Too bad Spike wasn't "visible" when he muttered her words of Love. I gotta start with what is still making me chuckle ... composed, together, unflappable Buffy answering the door disheveled with her shirt on inside out and backwards ... I laughed out loud. And the mustard ... very creative (did that with ketchup once ... but not naked)

AND HEY --- doesn't Spike get any credit for telling Buffy's hair that he loves her. Come on, she's deaf so her other senses are more heightened right? ... she had to feel it!!!

These two are just SO unlike any other Buffy and Spike combination and SO perfect for eachother ... thanks to you Brat. I love how even after disagreements they actually clear them up, apologize, learn and move on.

OK, and and the Spuffy lovin' ... YEOWWW that was some hot sofa sex !! Did you get my
husbands e-mail this morning thanking you for last night? Cause I think you're getting another tomorrow am.

Thank you for my absolute favorite of all time type of chapter ... I can do angst if I know there will be a good balance of romance too. Love this story!!!

I wonder if Rayne is involved too. Or if Spike thinks it. Telling that Riley has dirty hands would have maybe been more convincing.
Oh Spike's mother and Buffy was talking to her. He isn't getting along with her good. He's still angry at her for what she did. And has certain issues to work out. ~ Love your dialog How have I messed up today? ~ Did you want that alphabetically or numerically? *grins* ~ So making Buffy jealous was a payback. And then he was gonna get the girl. That was hot and emotional too (I hope I can translate what I mean). And I hope Buffy noticed what Spike wanted to say and yet couldn't when she is so good 'reading' people.
