You are doing such a great job of building a wonderful foundation of a friendship. They are developing a mutual caring for each other, a protectiveness that works both ways, trust and just a nice comfort taken in the participation of mundane every day happenings in their lives.

It's so nice that they sincerely enjoy each other's company. (makes it even better when they jump each others bones, hee hee)

I stuck your last chapter on soemthing I was reading so that's why I didn't review (copied a whole big fic off the internet to read and put your chapter at the top for when I did read it) And I very much liiked it

and today I'm somehow out of it...I have no idea why, so can I just say I really like the relationship developing between the two of them? If not, well...then I guess I have a problem ;)

Maybe being deaf and manage her life made Buffy better (for that 'bumps', to handle them). Parker? Mmm difficult indeed. It's her parents 'fault' that they were together (means at the end Buffy did give in to their wish). She didn't do it because she loved him. So no wonder she is torn. And Spike had his problems too in the past with Dru. ~ Loved the chapter as always :)

Rational Buffy?!?! This is definitely the world of fanfiction ... I always wished she could be this understanding and rational in the real show. I love this Buffy you created. She's gonna save herself a hurtin' Spike.

Hmmmm, seems Spike and Buffy do have a lot in common.

Frankly, I like the way Buffy is handling herself. She's pragmatic (is that the word I want?). Practical and self-reliant; she can see inside herself and admit that she's a human being, not a saint.

You know a friend of mine once told me that there are no wrong emotions; just right in wrong in how you deal with them. It's true and guilt is such an ugly useless emotion.
Regret is real; it's something a human is adept at dealing with. You regret something you did; handle the repercussions and go on.

Buffy should not feel guilty, everyone mourns in their own way. That's why we're human.

I love this story and I like the pace that Spuffy is going.

Thank for your response to my last feedback. I think I understand a bit better where you're coming from with this now. ;)

The last part of this chapter sounds very like discussions I've had at Psychotherapy Groups I join in on.

“Everyone has problems, Spike. It doesn’t make your problems any less when you find out about someone else’s. It just reminds you that you’re not alone in having them. And as sick as it sounds, it’s comforting. When you feel all alone in your problems, you feel isolated, but being able to share them and hear about others’ problems, it makes you feel less alone.”

Makes Buffy very empathetic, and opens Spike up to her, and us, a lot more. Nice.
