Good chapter, like getting more insight on the protectiveness of Spike and how Buffy reacts to being coddled. Although I'll have to admit I don't understand why you made Joyce the 'bad guy' instead of Hank. I really like Joyce on the show, and can't imagine her that way.

Mmm nice kiss, very nice :) But then Anya joined them, meaning Buffy remembered, not Spike. Buffy is clever indeed; she notices the small things and Spike got caught. And why is Spike sorry now? Ah, he is so torn about it. (Loved Spike's thinking.) Uh-huh.. the robbers are dead now? So there is behind them... it's getting more dangerous. ~ Looking forward to the next part :)

My wish was granted .... the chapter began with kissage ... (next time there is kissage, could you use about 2 long detailed chapters for it?? LOL) (and no, I am not in high school ... just love well written romance)

You know, Spike's pretty good with this whole denial thing...not saying he doesn't have his reasons but....And hes still staying there, right? I always forget you're from New England and then a reference to the Red Sox pops into a chapter. As a lifelong Red Sox fan, it always makes a smile creep onto my face (although it seems we are at the "there's always next year" stage in the season as we couldn't have had a worse August with injuries and just plain bad luck). Football season will be interesting without Vinatieri, but I'm sure Brady's fine ass will still be able to command the field.

Oh yeah, and I really like the story so far. :)

Author's Response: I went to a preseason pats game last weekend and just had to put a reference to them in there somewhere :) It was awesome! Sweet seats too. I think Gastowski (Sp?) is going to be good...still not my Adam though :(

Well you certainly are the master of the cliffhanger! You are KILLING ME. I love this story and want longer longer longer chapters and more spuffy!! ;-) You are doing a fabulous job writing this story, I'm really enjoying it. I love Buffy being dear, adds a great element to the story.

Looks like Anya's rejection and Buffy's forgiveness are both saving Spike from himself. Excellent chapter-- and a Joss-like surprise at the end! The way he could launch a relationship forward very quickly at an unexpected moment-- great stuff! Now I really can't wait for the next chapter (squeels in delight)!
