I hate Anya in this, sorry Anya worshippers. I guess I'm too old to be such a romantic to think that Anya is being deceived by her so called boyfriend. In this day and age, when a man says 'no strings' that's exactly what he means...no strings. I wish ppl would get that, finally.

Okay, that being said, I love the story.

What we have here is a failure to communicate! Looks like they both need to give a little and tell the other what they are thinking-- which is always the last possible thing you want to do when you feel vulnerable to someone else. Especially since they are so new to each others' lives, you do a great job of capturing the assumptions people make when they misinterpret actions. Great update. Just wanted you to know that whenever I see you have updated this story, I have to check on it first. This is my new favorite!

loved it. both of them are thinking that their feelings are one sided. it's sooo cute and a little frustrating to read that they both feel some type of attraction to one another but are too jaded and stubborn to act on it. plus spike does have a job to do-protect buffy- and he can't do that with his tongue shoved down her throat....or another part of him in other parts of.....her....parts. lol. okay. i'm done. great job. post soon.

Her parents got Buffy a golden cage. So seeing Spike makes her long even more for a bit of 'outside'. ~ Yeah, if it would be so easy, taking a pill and make it better (like the nightmares stop). But it never is. ~ Hehe He was sleeping with her to help her sleep, and all Buffy found herself was wide awake. How ironic, huh? :-D ~ Loved the new chapter :)
