Well it isn't really funny and yet it is, Spike being fearful because he was caught watching Telly :)
(Loved the talking.) And seeing Spike being eager to get a shower.. moving so fast? Buffy only had to remind him that it was his choice. Maybe he is beginning to trust her now. Yup.. he was musing so. Cute: "being the pet of this golden warrior with her endearing and comforting soft side, he was already overcome with the urge to kill things and lay them at her feet" Like a very big cat :-D
Ah well, things have gotten backwards because of what happened with Buffy's original Spike in the bathroom. Seems Buffy is laying the whole blame on Spike, what Buffy did to him before doesn't count. Spike is ready to be punished... he didn't even smoke his cigarettes...
I wonder where Buffy went and if she'll be calmer later.

I am enjoying the depth of emotion and attention to detail in this story. The exploration of the psychological damage Spike's captivity has wrought is awful and fascinating. You finally had Spike relaxing into the situation, and then the rug was well and firmly pulled out from under him. I certainly hope that was The First, I can't imagine Buffy being so intentionally cruel...

I must have skipped over your story before. I am really liking it. Although I don't think I was ready for this bathroom scene for some reason, even though it fits well for the feelings she must have for him. Really looking forward to more.

This is good but now i am getting confused. Are there two Buffy's-bad buff good buff and why has Spike only got 1 inch of dark hair growth, because after three years it would be more unless his captors were kind enough to bleach it for him. I am sure this story isn't as staright forward as first though. Good

I actively dislike Buffy in this and really hope that she gets a heart soon. I've always disliked the version of Buffy that feels justified in treating a thinking entitiy as a thing. You are doing a great job with this story, and I think that your characterizations on very good.

I just found this story last night and read all 7 chapters so far. Really intriguing set up and your character voices are just excellent. I hope you write more and, in the meantime, I'll be checking out the other stories you've posted.

The time dilemma is an intriguing plot twist. Have Spike's memories of slavery been altered, or is this a Spike from another reality? That last line put a positive spin on the chapter.

Wow. Buffy's being kind of a bitch. I mean yeah, she should be mad at Spike and everything, but she's completely ignoring all the times she beat the guy to a pulp for saying the wrong thing or even just being nice to her. Sheesh.

Buffy learned some truth today (about what happened to Spike). And she didn't like the way he was used and got tortured. Spike is so programmed now he needs time to get deprogrammed again.
