I am enjoying this so much. I really, really like your Buiffy 00 her innocence, carning, strength is very much in canon. And, I love that she is there for Spike like this -- "God, I hope your real." Excellent, vivid 'verse you're building here.

Was excited to see the new update and it's good to see Spike is coming more out of his protective shell and Buffy really seeing him and what he has been through.

Spike's straighforward answers and forthrightness about what's been done to him actually make the torture and punishment a little easier to read. This Buffy, still filled with righteous anger at Spike, is well written in her fury and dismay. I love how exasperated she is. She wants things to be "right" with her Spike. How can she be pissed off at someone who doesn't remember what he did to piss her off? Your Spike still has a bit of backbone, and I love the bit of his helping Dawn escape because "she just... told me to, so I did." Those bossy Summers women!

Wow what a chapter. I love reading about everything from Spike's point of view. Good idea. It looks like Spike has forgotten somehow either all of Season 5 on or all of post-chip. But wouldn't the spell that makes people remember Dawn in the past still work on him? A mystery. I absolutely love this.

I really hope she won't be such a bitch from now on. She wasn't that bitter on the series, towards Spike, so seeing her mean in the story is...harsh.

Poor Spike...how did he get caught up in this, from wanting to leave town and search for his soul? And what wiped his memories? Did he ask the demon to take him back to pre-chip, then get careless out feeding, and caught? So many questions.....

Can't wait for Tara and Dawn to interarct with him, too.

So Spike has no memories of her and Dawn; I wonder why.

Buffy is undercover now.. hopefully her victim will sleep a bit and not notice she was robbed; could get bad for Buffy. ~ But Buffy managed to get Spike out. He's changed.. trained would that oily demon say I guess. Oh what they did to him, Buffy doesn't recognize him and his behavior irritates her. And he even lost his memories? If he can't remember Dawn, he can't remember Buffy. And therefore has no need to say he was sorry for what the tried to do. ~ Looking forward to the next chapter.
