Buffy makes a new friend?
Small world indeed. Riley works there too? How convenient, he even has a child. I wonder if he is what he seems or if he gets played (payed) by Cecily. I hope he is 'true' what he seems to be.
Ah well, I'm glad that Buffy is on a break with Doyle. :) ~
Spike special people? Ah, his parents. And there I thought home how long it would take them to come (to see their grandchild).

I, for one, sort of understand where Faith and Doyle are coming from. They had a friend who was devastated by what a married man had done to her, they helped her through her pregnancy and listened to her cry out her heartache and probably hatred for this married man. Then all of a sudden, he shows up in the picture again, and the friend is all "Oh, but he's CHANGED". I mean, really, how many times do you hear women say that and then get hurt all over again?Can see where that would be hard to listen to. Think Faith and Doyle are definitely too pushy but can see where they are coming from. They think Buffy is making the same mistake again and Buffy wants them fully immersed in her messy life when she is going through the hard times and then she wants them to back off now. I think it would be harder for Faith and Doyle to just turn off their hatred for Spike and can see that bleeding into every conversation they have with her. Glad Buffy sees a friend in Riley.

Oh thank goddess you made Riley married (I was thinking ewww, until you added Sam and Jr). Now that Spike's folks have arrived perhaps things will be better for him. AFterall, it helps to have you family with you and on your side when things get rough. I hope Buffy hit's it off with his parents (cause that will help them too). More please. I love the tale.

A very nice, comfortable chapter on this roller-coaster ride of emotion. You're probably luring us into a false sense of security. I especially liked Riley and Buffy's interaction-- It's so very sweet to see people respond to your child because of their own experience. Being a parent is kind of like being in a cult; the sleep deprivation and common experiences abound! ;) And Mom & Dad to the rescue for William-- How very comforting. I liked this chapter a lot, with the internal dialogue of Buffy really doing a lot to further develop her character. Looking forward to more!

things are looking up for buffy and spike. i was really shocked to find that riley was now apart of the group. i'm glad he's married though. buffy's got enough on her plate with spike AND doyle. great job. please post soon.

Ok so for a moment there I thought oh no! not Riley but thank goodness you didn't go there :) It made me very happy. I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore all of your stories. You have a great style of writing that's very refreshing. Thank you and keep it up . And if you could maybe throw in some more smut that would be nice lol.
