I think it's great William's parents are entering into the story, he could really use the moral support. And I also liked the introduction of Riley and his family, Buffy needs some new friends besides Willow that aren't so judgemental. Fantastic chapter!

Buffy seriously rocked in the last two chapters. I love it when she shows her strength and takes charge of things. It's good that Spike has these moments of doubt, it's more realistic to have him second-guessing his decisions. After all, this is a big step for him, cos means to change his whole life.
Great update, can't wait for more:)

I hope Buffy is right and Cecily doesn't know exactly what Spike is too Buffy. Because before they only met one evening..should be hard for a private eye to find out.
A moment I feared Spike would go back.. I'm glad he was only weak because it is all too much.
Hopefully Buffy will indeed help him to learn how to stand up when he stumbles.

Great updates-- I loved reading the last 3 chapters all together like this. Thank you for the sweet moments when Buffy watched Spike care for their son, as well as for the great Mama Bear moment when she calls him a coward. Very nice to see the connecting these two are doing, while Doyle & Faith, for all their good intentions, are only driving Buffy further and further away from them.

Wait, if Buffy, William, and Cecily all knew each other in high school, how can Cecily NOT know who Buffy is? Unless she's just incredibly dense, or Buffy has changed a lot in the looks department since then.... hmm, I'm confused.

Author's Response: Hi! Well, the thing with Cecily is that she was kind of in her own world where no one existed except for the other rich girls like herself in high school. They were just "peons" to her and she paid no heed. Plus, then Buffy did leave Boston for quite some time. I still get asked if I remember the people I went to high school with and I can sometimes remember names, but I sure can't remember faces! LOL.

oh, who am i kidding? even i know that there's going to be more angst between our favorite couple and i haven't even read the future chapters yet. oh, well. the spuffy ending will be worthy it in the long run. post soon.

Seems as if Doyle fell out of Buffy's grace.. he couldn't do Buffy a simple favor she asked for (and this time I don't see how telling Faith would have helped Buffy).
So to William now.. (But Cecily still has some copies of the photo's too. Close ups? Mmm getting to know how Brandon looks like.)
