Ok, I don't think she should have done that but I'm gonna wait and see what happens. Other than that I think it was a really good chapter but I just can't get past someone saying they'll go out with someone when the don't even really like them

That's going to be a hard & bitter pill for Spike to swallow-- Especially since he's growly possessive Spike, in wanting to be a better man for Buffy. Interesting how all of her friends are putting her insecurity on Spike-- doesn't seem he's done anything as of late. I thinks it's Buffy's poor sense of self that drives her to such actions-- to be nothing more than a casual fuck--and the results just keep feeding that poor self- image. You seriously must be a psychology student! ;)

I enjoyed reading Buffy's musings at the close of the chapter. So Buffy sees dating Doyle as her salvation, i'm not sure it's the right reason to date him, but it's an interesting one. I can't wait to find out how this new development plays out. Good update.

You've been leaving some VERY obvious hints about Doyle's feeling for some time now. He was a bit manipulative, but you can totally see that he cares about Buffy. Kind of reminds me of Xander and the whole refusing to tell Buffy about the soul. . . best interests at heart, and all of that.

Beyond just Spike not having a right to be upset about Buffy moving on, I don't know if maybe I forgot about this part, but isn't he already under the assumption that Doyle is already actively warming her bed. . . or, at least the couch? I may have missed a possible epiphany there, can't be sure. I can't see how this little date could pose as a problem.

Sadly to see Doyle wants indeed Buffy to ask out for a date. So he is interested in her personally, not only as a friend as it seems. That makes his remarks about Spike appear in a different light (like not telling Buffy that Spike was there when Brendon was born. I hope she won't forget this (Doyle not being honest). I wonder if Doyle wants to date Buffy now because Spike is there now, back in Buffy's life (kind of). And Buffy wants to get out with him now to get more 'clean', better? That's not the way it works.. Spike won't be pleased but I don't say he'll say much (because he isn't in the position too.
*checks* The warnings doesn't say Buffy/other (Buffy/Doyle) so I hope it won't go so far. We'll see. Better I hope not to see (B/D) *sigh*

Wow.. This is the one story where I actually want Buffy with Doyle instead of Spike! Good writing!.. but now I'm dreading the inevitable Buffy/Spike reunion that will leave loyal, fabulous Doyle broken-hearted. Sigh...

Okay...now that i got that reaction out i'll move on to a more rational one. can't say that i didn't expect this. and i'm actually kind of glad it happened. this thing with her and doyle isn't going to work (spuffy story here) but buffy won't be able to really deal with spike and her feelings for him until she at least tries to move on. loved it soooooo much but i'm really dreading reading how spike is going to take this. not that he really has a reason to get upset or anything. post soon. loved it.

Ordinarily, I hate Buffy with someone other than Spike. But Doyle's so... Doyle!! I dont think I'll ever have any types of problems whatsoever with Doyle.

Great cliffhangers for both Giles' and Buffy's reactions! Guess Doyle has developed some feelings for Buffy? And the plot thickens. Can't wait to see possessive Spike (hopefully not too much of an ass about it). : )

Very nice-- I've been away on vacation, and I've missed reading this. This is a great update. I like the way Spike is getting emotional about his feelings for Buffy and their son-- It gives me warm fuzzies. ;)

Doyle is still against Spike (or William). I still wonder how much is cause by wanting to protect Buffy as a friend and from wanting her more than that. ( -> asking her out! )
Silly me.. I should have thought that Spike would have problems to find a lawyer thanks to Cecily's family.
Loved Giles' reacting about Spike's news that he gets a divorce; his mother's was even more fun. Oh and I hope that Giles' knows the right man or woman for the job (Spike's lawyer). And looking forward to his reaction of being a granddad. :-D
