Uh-huh.. Cecily wants a baby to get more money. Good to see that for once Spike doesn't agree to what she wants. Even better that he had the 'epiphany' now that he'd rather have nothing then something from her and her family. Will that be enough to stop things he's doing that goes wrong? Like his marriage, his drinking, his cheating? I hope.
I wonder if Doyle told the send Spike away when Brandon was born. Good to see Spike wants to see this son :)

I am really hoping that Doyle is Buffy's best gay guy friend so that he isn't getting his hopes up romantically ... cause we girls know that unless it's a gay guy friend then 95% of the straight ones want more than to be there for us in a time of need. I'd sure hate to see Doyle hurt in any way (always loved his character --- glad you're using him)

Loved the last scene ... Spike like a boy at Christmas ... he'll figure out that to have his son and Buffy he'll be the richest man in the world.

Another great chapter ... you sure elicit emotions that cover the spectrum ... contempt, disgust, hate, hope, wonder, love ... felt them all while reading that last chapter.

Cecily really is a bitch. I hope he just up and leaves her one day. I think Doyle might cause some problems though.

Spike is jumping conclusions... because he is jealous and / or was left out during the pregnancy. Oh Spike to idealized her when she wasn't in his reach? And yet or because he is on his way down, heavy drinking now. Is he deep enough to go back, change? Looking forward to find out.
Doyle? A good friend, but he didn't have the right to tell Spike to go especially when Doyle got bitter and told him to stay away (bitter why? because he wants Buffy?) even when Buffy told Spike about everything? It's Buffy's decision; he is old enough to make her own errors.
Yet he hears what Doyle said because he didn't try to talk to Buffy.
I wonder if he'll change now or if it takes more. If his wife or his father in law finds out that he has a child he'll get a lot of pressure and/or trouble. He should get a divorce before they find out. (On the other hand, they have money and if he wants a divorce they'll maybe find out, searching for dirt. ~ See still reading till now.

Great conversation between Doyle and Spike, I agree with everything Doyle said.. but I'm just waiting for Spike to react. And now that he has seen his beautiful son , will it be enough to make him realize that he has the power to change his life and Buffy 's life ?
Okay , I'm dying to read the next part , and dying to know what Spike will decide.
