Nice that he has such a low opinion of himself. Love that he's kinda "haunted" by Buffy. Still think he needs to do whatever he has to and face anything they throw at him to get out from under Bitch-C and her family's influence. More please.

Why the fuck is Spike mad at Buffy? Cause she found out? Yeah, well grow up, man and realize that she was your victim in this whole thing. He had an obligation to ne honest with her and when he wasn't and the whole thing blew up in his face, only he is to blame. You'd think that he'd have learned his lesson, but no, he's still sleeping around.

Faith also needs to be kicked in the ass. Faith as the self-righteous one makes me cringe. Congratulations, you're pregnant and the man you love is marrying you, but you don't need to make Buffy feel like shit because of it. I just hope that Faith and Willow become more of a support system for Buffy, cause just Doyle might become too much for both of them.

Great chapter, brought out a lot of emotion in me, if you hadn;t noticed! Can't wait for more...angst ahoy!

I enjoyed reading Buffy and Faith's POV about whether or not to tell Spike about the baby. Both made some good points in favor of their position of the subject, but in end it's Buffy's decision and i'm glad Faith has decided to support her friend. I look foward to finding out if Buffy's plan to keep her pregnancy a secret works. Great chapter!

Excellent chapter . Spike is going to suffer a lot more , I bet. He needs to think about his life , and what he wants from it.. I would like to see him meet a pregnant and radiant Buffy with Doyle by her side.; Hum? i'm being mean!!
But it would help him open his eyes , no?

Buffy is brave and determined , she's wonderful. I completely understand her reasons not to say anything. From what she knows about Spike , she rightly fears that he might take the baby away from her , to raise him 'better'...

Very nice-- I like that there is a real discussion about whether or not to involve Spike, and that Spike is getting a little of the self-loathing. More soon, I hope. I can't wait to see where you take this one, and what is up with Doyle-- why he was holding Buffy's hand and then dropping it (if there is even any significance there.

wow. so good. SOOOO VERY GOOD!!! loved it soooo much. please PLEASE post soon. is this gonna be like the kind of story where we all get to read how buffy goes throught the pregnency over the next couple of months before spike finds out or is he gonna find out soon and go through the pregnency with her? did that make sense??? lol. I"ve been doing homeworki all evening so I probably don't make much sense. lol. anyway, i can't wait to find out where this goes. loved it. post soon.

The jump in time surprised me. And Spike is getting more bitter - that's never good. I hope he runs into Buffy when she's showing and figures out that it's his. Maybe it will be the thing to make him face the fact that he needs to just leave Cecily. Of course, it could also be the thing that Cecily and his family hold over his head. I can see this is definitely going to be angsty (even without the warning).

So Doyle is back now. He is witty, fun to read. :) ~ Oh, indeed a surprise for Buffy, she is pregnant? Because she forgot.. well that's the result now. I wonder if Spike knowing that Buffy is getting his baby would change things. So when he sees her pregnant, especially with Doyle by example he'll think it will be Doyle's. ~ Looking forward to the next part so far (still reading) :)

This is an awesome story. Very painful to read but realistic. I don't really blame Spike in this whole mess...i mean of course he 's wrong to live like this , seducing random women on a regular basis and accepting this crappy life.; but you greatly described the situation and it's not easy , I can understand that.
Trapped in a marriage he doesn't want anymore . And Buffy will help him clear his head ..
Excellent reaction from Buffy. Their confrontation in the elevator was powerful and hard.
But I feel for her. And now the pregnancy.. I'm so glad that she's got Doyle as a great friend.

Looking forward to the next installment.
