Duh.. Buffy thinks that avoiding Spike won't lead to say nothing stupid to him. And that's the solution? I guess that will send wrong signal for Spike. *sigh* Such a heartbreaking chapter, seeing Buffy act this way (and hurt them both).

Giles doesn't regret plotting to kill Spike; he thought he did manage to do it. Buffy can't trust Giles regarding Spike. It's possible that he would try it again.
Good to see Buffy did give Giles a piece of her mind. :)
And if I didn't make it clear: Loved the update.
