After the slayer line has parted, Buffy feels stronger, more of the slayer then before? Sounds as if the line is going through her and that the Council doesn't like her being stronger. I hope they won't try to kill her. Duh.. especially know they now 'a slayer is about to find her mate'... Regarding the Council that sounds as if Buffy is in danger now.
And Buffy did some research on her own, in secret ~ yet Giles found out. And he will remember it. I hope, when he calls Travers, he won't say too much. ~ Looking forward to the next chapter. :)

Ah good, Buffy is alive. So it went like we know. Mmm Spike bit her .. and the way Buffy reacted Spike was right, the mark is visible and there now instead the one of the master. (Though his is no claim bite? *wonders*) But something is there now (or she wouldn't get that feeling).
Sorry to see that Buffy opened up to Willow but she didn't believe her. Good I guess that Buffy didn't tell her more. Looking forward what Buffy will do now.

good beginning chapter but at the end i got threw off because i didnt know if he really bit her or if it was all a dream to her

Very good chapter. I really like how you work out this conversation. It fits nicely into the framework that we saw of Buffy's friends hearing what they want to hear, but never really listening. Glad that Buffy found out who she can trust, and who she can't. Looking forward to more.
