So Spike found something.. most likely anyway.
And Giles is suspecting anything (or he was hiding it very well). But he noticed that the books were stolen.
Duh... the Council didn't see that they caused this, the death of the Slayer. If they hadn't intervened... nothing would have happened.
Bad for Buffy... Giles is plotting against her (even if he wants the best). Would be bad if he got his will.

Absolutely love it!! Just got caught up and every chapter is fantab. This chapter, though, reminds me of the Giles from S2 that wouldn't be swayed away from the Council---right or wrong, they were the 'king.' And now he asks Angel for help? At last Buffy and Spike are good, no misunderstandings about feeding on humans or not.
Buffy and her mom? It's hard for her to believe that Buffy is a vampire slayer but maybe she is getting it now.
I'm looking forward to the meeting of Spike and Joyce especially when she gets to know that he is a vampire. But on the other hand Spike isn't a normal vampire, he is Buffy's and special :)

That was a satisfying scene of understandable righteous anger from Buffy. I wonder how Joyce will finally take the truth?
