But the meeting was not the way Spike thought it would happen. Buffy did recognize him, I'm sure about it. But maybe seeing him in flesh was a bit much? Because she ran way.
Looking forward to find out how long it will Spike cost to get her back :)

What a terribly sad and poignant chapter- it was truly a thing of beauty. Poor Buffy, she's so young at this point, and Spike is so obviously in love with her. This is lovely, sad and bitter, but most definately lovely too

Very nicely constructed chapter. It's nice that Spike is letting Buffy realise things in her own time- not pushing her to love him right now. Plus, Buffy's thoughts weaved into Giles' lecture was very nicely done.

And Buffy is back too and things haven't changed that much (she still don't feels well about Willow). Angel? *wonders* than it is the same like it is with the bite: Angel can smell that Buffy was with Spike.
