I kinda really like Buffy in this chapter. She understands what she's doing...well to some extent. And I do think at the moment William deserves it. Looking forward to more.

Did I pick a good time to start reading again?? It got too angsty for me so I thought I'd let some time go by to let them begin to get together.

Man do you do a good job of creating a jealous situation ... as a reader I can really feel it coming off of both of them. Are these two good together ? I can't tell yet. He is wonderful (he always is) but she is so immature and really has nothing to bring to the relationship at all (guess that is you whole point eh?). I do know that Lilah is NEVER good ... yelch.
Maybe Fred would be a good match is this Buffy isn't going to shape up. tee hee

I'm not sure whose side to take on this. I mean, on the one hand, he's a stand-up guy and has been pretty much waiting for her for ahwile. But for her, she's unstable as far as herself - she's jumped around so much she doesn't have roots to keep her steady, and she wants to grow those roots on her own... while William wants to aid her in that process, which as sweet as that is, it's something she should do on her own, for her own sake. Bah, but you know all this, lol. Anyhoo, lovely chapter. :) I don't know whether to thank or curse you for making me think so much, lol!

I enjoyed reading both William and Buffy's POV. It's a shame they just don't sit down and talk things out, but I guess emotions are running to high at the moment. Can't wait to find out what happens next. Fantastic chapter.

Awww...they're still not together! At least I know Buffy wants to be with him though.

ARGH! The angst! Good update!

As much as I root for Spuffy and wanted them to get together as fast as they can and get groiny - there are instances, such as this one, when I wish they don't. Good for Buffy for trying to get her head together - I understand perfectly how she feels, what she's going through right now and in his impatience he didn't see that. Like a proper caveman, he couldn't wait, couldn't see reason.

Buffy really needed this. Really needed to get out there on her own, dip her toe in the big bad world and stand, not wobble or leaning or whatever, but stand.

How she will end up falling with William though, now that's an interesting thing I have to see. Maybe he said something, maybe he did something... I don't know, that's what got me hooked on this story of yours. :) Should I even tell you that I love this chapter?

Oh yeah, all authors like that! So, yeah... *g* I love the chapter. A bit angsty but it's realistic.

stubborn buffy and spike are never fun!!! but they're cute so....anyway, i really think buffy made the right decision in moving out and into willow's but if she thinks that it'll simple things up with her and spike then i'm not so sure that is gonna work. and as far as william is concerned, he's pushing a little too much. i mean, i sort of understand why and all. he loves buffy but has had time to deal with his feelings a bit. buffy hasn't and he needs to give her time. and buffy needs to stop running away so much!!!
