Something to read while I pretend to be busy at work! What a heartbreaking chapter. I think Buffy was burned so bad that she feels that she can't offer William anything. I hope that she starts to work out her issues soon. Love the chapter, love the story. Can't wait for more

Seems that Will isn't going to give up easily. I like caveman Will-- but you already know that I like growly, possessive Will/Spike. What I especially like is how William didn't throw a fit, get frustrated, lash out, or be hurtful or act angrily toward Buffy just because she didn't instantly say yes. That is something more men could take some lessons on. ;)

Now, I'm from California and not merry old England, but I'm pretty sure the phrase is "flip a nutter," not nutty. Also, the spelling for the appetizers is: Hors d’oeuvres (go figure-- it's French); I spell-checked it and everything! Just a little friendly suggestion.

Seriously though, to have a sexy man walk up to you and whisper "Hello, beautiful"-- What an image (shiver, shutter and squeel)! Thanks for steaming it up between these two. Seems that Will left Buffy with a lot to think about-- certainly no other man could compare. Hopefully she rushes home quickly, and I hope he's still ready to pounce!

Author's Response: Apparently my spell check sucks for the spelling of hors d'oeuvres lol. So, thank you! The flip a nutty thing was my own saying lol...and made it Buffy's! :) I don't think I would have been able to stay with Owen if William came up and whispered that in my ear...no way!
