I think there's a glitch here or something. I am constantly seeing deep written as Addiep, for some reason though it is mostly in this story. I am sure you don't do this on purpose, but it happens very often. For instance in this chaper - "She swallowed and took a Addiep breath" - see? Yet, there are 'deep's that are written correctly. I don't know why or what is making this happen. :( For the longest time I couldn't decipher what you were trying to say at all when I ran into this. I thought that you were doing this specifically, but after about 5 chapter I realized that something else is doing this. It's really annoying, though *pout*

Other than that - well done. Sorry about the ranting :)

Heeee! Addie is new as a name for Spike's mom :) I wonder if I'm guessing right about the name.
Yeah, a childhood like Spike had isn't easy to explain to a mortal ;-) Addie saw it too. For Spike this all (the special things) was normal. Yeah, Spike is stuck between a rock and a hard place... he can't tell her and he can't lie to her well without getting caught. He wants her to be with him whatever it takes (becoming mortal or immortal). But now he knows that he reached another step he wanted to reach: Buffy told him she is falling in love with him, yay :)
