I just found this story and it has left me breathless and teary eyed. Your characterizations are perfect. I love the way Buffy gets so involved in the "fairytale", and her shock at the thought the 'good man' could be Spike. Now all I can hope for is a 'happily ever after'.

I really loved this fic. Now I wann see what Buffy does with her new insight. If she and Spike can become friends and lovers. The disfunctional season six version of evnts will cease to be. Which will stop Seeing Red from happening cuz Spike wont do what he did. And also Bufy wont be in yhe garden the next Morning. Hence no Tara Death. Hence no Darth Willow. Everybody wins

Kathleen, I was as caught up in the story as younger Buffy was. Her older self has a remarkable gift--and not just in the second chance with Spike. Gorgeous story...but of course it can't be finished!!!

Oh wow. I LOVE Time travel fics! And so far kathleen, this is original and intriguing. Some simply gorgeous lines.

The ones whose love for her kept love from her until all love had died as well.

Just one of the lines I adored. This was magical, and there's more! Yay.
